As a result of the consultation information that patients with any systemic disease will receive from their doctor, it is decided whether the implant will be made or not with the decision of the dentist.
In which cases is an implant performed?
All of our patients can be implanted, either with a single tooth or until all edentulousness. Our patients can use a successful implant for a lifetime. In addition to fully fixed prostheses, as well as removable superstructure prostheses, can be made for all our patients with missing teeth. Due to this reason, some patients may not be able to have implants. If patients without posterior teeth want a fixed prosthesis, this can only be possible with an implant.
How is the implant applied?
First of all, it should be examined well. In addition to the panoramic film, dental tomography can also be taken. After a planning is made, the operation is started. The surgery is performed under local anesthesia. Each implant takes about 10-20 minutes. During the implant surgery, the implants are placed in the bone and the sutures are removed. During this operation, bone grafting or sinus operation may be required. After the implants are placed, a waiting period of 2 to 6 months is required (for the implant and bone to fuse). In some cases, upper prostheses can be loaded immediately after the operation.
Prosthesis over implant
After the fusion of the bone with the implant is completed, the superstructure is started. In about 7-10 days, our prosthesis is completely finished.
